While driving down US 64, I saw deer on the overpass. At first, I was concerned they would get hit, and then I realized it was a train overpass. Briefly, I saw a large deer, mother and fawn, hobbling up and down on the rail ties to cross to the over side. I marveled that they found a safe path for crossing the highway.
Since the stag is one of my power animals, I pay attention when I see deer. I asked the Spirit what this sighting meant for me and was told… “I need to follow my own path through life, no matter how obscure or different, and not to worry about what the rest of ‘herd’ is doing. I need to use my ingenuity and creativity to make my way through this life.”
I then began to receive insights on how I could contribute this world through green technology, inventions and living a spiritual life. I was amazed at how my mind began to clear and the creativity started to flow. All that was needed was for me to be open to the message and willing to receive the archetype power of my power animal.
The universe is watching and always ready to help us if we are willing. The signs are all around us, and if we pay attention, we will see them.
