The Final Journey

My mother called me while she was driving her husband to the hospital. She whispered into the phone, “I don’t think he’s breathing.” She was only a couple blocks from the hospital, so she would just continue to drive. I told her I would immediately shamanic journey for him and hung up the phone.

When I reached the spirit realm, his spirit was waiting. He began to tell me why he died. “My body is used up. I am tired and ready to return in a new body for a new life. I miss my parents. It’s too cold in Michigan. It was time.” I accepted his decision.

I then asked him if he would like an aura cleansing. It was symbolic at this point and served as a ritual to help our minds adjust to his leaving this realm and moving into the next. After the cleansing, two angels lifted him up in a throne-like chair and he was taken away to another spirit realm. He waved as he left. He looked really happy.

When my mom called later to tell me that the hospital’s efforts to revive him had failed, she said, “I guess I don’t have to tell you what happen. You probably already know.” A mother’s faith is a good thing. I was then able to relay his final words to her. It was a comfort to her to know that her husband was happy and taken care of after his passing.

The funeral is on Monday. I will fly home to support my mother and spend time with family.

Blessed journeys!
